A catch-all email account is an address that is specified to receive all messages that are addressed to an incorrect email address for a domain.
You have three email addresses set up for the domain getbcc.com
A client sends an email to firstname.lastname@example.org; however, this email address does not exist therefore you never receive the message and your client never gets a response… not good!
Now, lets suppose you set email@example.com as a catch-all account. Your client sends an email to firstname.lastname@example.org which doesn’t exist, however, the email is forwarded to the domain’s catch-all account which is email@example.com. You receive the message, and your client gets a response… much better!
A catch-all account becomes extremely important when your website does not use a contact form. This is because your visitors could potentially mistype your email address when composing an email. On the other hand, spammers love catch-all accounts since they can input an incorrect email address and still have their spam arrive in your inbox!
